Wednesday Farmers Market at Everett Station

Community Spring Clean Up – Everett Station District

The Everett Station District Alliance is excited for this coming summer. Here’s are a few quick updates:

BIA. With the adoption of the business improvement area (BIA) ordinance in December, we’ve been working diligently to set-up administrative structures with the city, to finalize budgets, and to contract firms for overnight security patrols and daytime ambassador services. Within the next month, property owners should see BIA assessment invoices in the mail, and we have RFPs out to security firms. Our target date for launching vehicle patrols and the ambassador program is June.

Volunteer Spring Cleanup. This Saturday, April 15, 9-11 a.m., is our Community Spring Cleanup. I hope you’ll join us as we make our streets litter-free for the summer.

Bike Everywhere Day. On Friday, May 19, 8 a.m. – noon, Everett Transit will host a celebration event on 32nd Street Bike Everywhere Day. Learn more.

Community Paint Day. Save Saturday, May 23, for ESDA’s “Community Paint Day.” You’ll be able to help four artists install murals in the neighborhood, and we plan to have music, food trucks, and a small makers market on 32nd Street.

Wednesday Farmers Market. Starting on June 7 (2-6 p.m.), the farmers market will return to 32nd Street in front of Everett Station for the summer.

Town Hall Day. On June 14, ESDA will expand the Wednesday Farmers Market into a “Town Hall Day.” Public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and businesses are invited to have booths to share their plans, programs, and projects in the neighborhood. If your agency, organization, or business would like to participate, contact Ben Austin at ben@everettstationdistrict.com.

We’ve got so much more we’re excited to share soon. Stay tuned!

Best,
